London Plane Serving Dish

£58.00

Hand-turned from a single piece of London Plane, this serving dish combines elegant simplicity with robust functionality. The warm, honeyed tones and amazing, distinctive grain patterns—accentuated by careful sanding and a beeswax finish—make each piece uniquely beautiful.

The grain on this piece of London Plane shows so beautifully why it is also called Lacewood. The photos don’t do justice to the amazing grain pattern.

Generous rim depth and a gently sloped profile provide a graceful presentation for fruit, bread, cheeses, or centrepieces, while the durable finish protects the surface of the wood. Roger has put a 1mm foot on the dish so that it is easy to pick up from the table.

This London Plane Serving Dish measures approx:

24cm x 5cm
