London Plane (Lacewood) Bowl with foot

This London Plane (Lacewood) Bowl is deep and is richly grained, with a dark lustrous finish that emphasises the lace-like figuring of the grain. Roger has turned this bowl to get the best of the grain pattern and has given it a lovely shape with a long foot so that it stands up above other pieces. It is finely sanded to a satin-smooth, tactile surface.

The dark tone boosts contrast for an elegant, contemporary look while keeping warm natural character. Ideal as a centerpiece, fruit or nut bowl, or decorative accent. Hand-finished and sealed for everyday use with basic care.
