The wood’s pale heartwood and darker figure blend into a warm, lively surface with distinctive grain and subtle natural markings that make each platter unique. Designed for function as well as form, the platter’s generous diameter provides ample space for cheese, charcuterie, bread, or a centrepiece display. The rim is softly rounded for comfortable handling, and the top is turned and sanded to a silky-smooth finish. The underside is shaped to enable one to easily pick it up from the table

Finished with food-safe beeswax, the platter is ready for serving and easy to maintain — simply wipe clean with a damp cloth and periodically refresh the finish with food-safe oil. As with all handmade timberware, avoid prolonged soaking and direct heat to preserve beauty and longevity.
