Hand-turned from a striking piece of exotic Gombé hardwood, the Gombé serving dish combines elegant form with everyday practicality. Its wide, gently curved profile and subtly tapered rim make it ideal for presenting salads, antipasti, fruit, or bread. The smooth, polished surface highlights the wood’s natural grain and colour contrasts—each piece a one-off, with unique figure and character. The grain on this piece shows brown, gold and pinkish hues.

Finished with food-safe beeswax, the Gombé dish is durable, easy to care for, and safe for direct food contact. Each dish is turned and finished in my workshop, reflecting traditional skill and contemporary design.
